Description
SV307A noise monitoring station is an all-in-one environmental noise monitoring station based on a patented MEMS microphone technology covered by a lifetime warranty. The SV307A Noise monitoring station has been designed for permanent environmental noise monitoring in all weather conditions – it uses smart solutions to control the internal temperature and detect any hardware failures. The new housing is made of strong material that protects internal electronics: class 1 sound level meter with 4G and GPS modems. The measurement data includes noise levels, statistics, and spectra together with audio files that can be triggered on level or time. The advanced triggering provides also the possibility of noise prediction to alarm the user before certain noise levels are reached. For the remote monitoring applications, the SV 307A connects to the SvanNET Service, where all measurement data is accessible via a web interface. Moreover, SvanNET makes it possible to connect to SV 307A to listen to the live noise from the microphone!
SV 307A Approved by PTB as Class 1 Sound Level Meter
In 2022, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) has granted the world’s first type approval to a Class 1 Sound Level Meter that uses a MEMS microphone for SV 307A Noise Monitor. This is an important turning point in the history of MEMS microphones in environmental noise monitoring.
Remote Monitoring Service
Noise and vibration measurement combined in one platform
The SV 307A includes the basic license for the SvanNET Remote Communication Service which can be upgraded to the Automatic Monitoring Services. The Automatic Service offers fully automated management of multi-point noise and building vibration measurement (peak particle velocity). Tools such as Automatic Files Download, Data Storage, Advanced Alarms, Data Sharing, and Reporting enable unattended noise and building vibration measurement. The functionality of SvanNET allows for group monitoring stations in Projects so that alarms and reports are defined for each Project separately. The data files are also grouped automatically by Project assignments.
Class 1 Sound Level Meter Approval
The world’s first Noise Monitoring Station with MEMS microphone approved as Class 1 Sound Level Meter
In March 2022, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) granted the world’s first type of approval to a Noise Monitoring station with a MEMS microphone. The SV 307A received the certificate of conformance to the Class 1 Sound Level Meter specified by IEC 61672. It is an important turning point in the history of MEMS microphones in environmental noise monitoring.
All-in-one Noise Monitoring Terminal
made for environmental monitoring
The new version of the SV 307A has an improved external housing for operation in conditions of high sunlight exposure and low temperatures, a new high-speed 4G modem for remote monitoring, and an improved microphone in the MEMS technology with a lifetime warranty. The continuous environmental noise monitoring system can be powered by AC mains or solar panels and the large internal battery can power the system for 5 days.
Patented dual system check
environmental monitoring with smart solutions
The hardware addons for environmental monitoring include a multi-microphone array inside of an ½” microphone housing. Using such an array one can make a dynamic system check continuously based on real acoustic signal measured. In case the levels measured by the reference microphone and the measurement microphones differ by more than a particular threshold, the SV 307A system check triggers an alarm. Additionally, the inbuilt sound source producing the level of about 100 dBA at 1 kHz can be used for automated or manual system checks.
Noise, meteo, dust
connect the weather or dust monitor
The SV 307A can be integrated directly with dedicated weather monitoring module or dust monitor. Sound level meter measurement data are combined with all meteorological values such as wind speed, wind direction, rain, humidity, or dust particles PM2.5 or PM10 when external sensors are connected. Moreover, the advanced triggering system can use noise, weather, or dust parameters for alarm triggering!
