15-channel plug-in interface module for the LR8450 Data Logger Series, update interval 10 ms, for DC voltage, temperature, and humidity, 16 bits, 100 V direct input, 300 V isolation to earth and between channels

Applications:

  • Analysis of temperature variations in EV components or engines
  • Measurement of ambient humidity and temperature in labs or storage facilities
  • Monitor voltage fluctuations and heat levels in machinery

The U8550 Voltage/Temperature Module is a 15-channel plug-in module for the LR8450 Data Logger Series. Up to four U8550 modules can be connected to a single LR8450 or LR8450- 01 Data Logger, allowing users to record data from up to 60 channels in a single device.

This module supports precise DC voltage measurements with a direct input capacity of up to 100 V. Its 300 V isolation to earth and between channels ensures safe and reliable operation. Additionally, the U8550 can measure temperature using thermocouples and capture humidity, making it versatile for applications requiring comprehensive environmental monitoring. Its compatibility with various thermocouple types allows flexibility for diverse thermal analysis tasks in research, industrial, and environmental settings. Each channel is individually configurable, giving users the freedom to tailor their setups to specific testing requirements.

With a fast update interval of 10 ms and 16-bit A/D resolution, the U8550 delivers highprecision data acquisition. The module offers nine measurement ranges, from ±10 mV to ±100 V, ensuring accurate readings across a variety of applications. To measure 4-20 mA signals, a 250 Ω shunt resistor can be used with the 1-5 V range, adding to the module's adaptability.
